Learner Objectives

• Define a business
• Describe the four parts to the business management cycle
• Identify the five Ps of every business
• Describe the three core functional areas of every business
• Apply at least one concept from each of the five Ps and three functional areas to the management of their business
• Identify basic financial statements and their components
• Calculate margin, mark-up, selling price, and break-even

If you are unsuccessful, you will have an opportunity to repeat the quiz. Once you have successfully completed the quiz, you can download your continuing education certificate(s) showing the credit(s) that you have earned.

This course has been approved for one hour of MN residential contractor and remodeler credit by the Minnesota Department of Labor & Industry and is approved for the required business management credit.
