This course reviews many of the OSHA Standard subparts for the construction industry providing easy to understand guidance towards OSHA Compliance.

  • AWAIR, Right to Know, Lead & Asbestos, Respiratory Protection
  • Mobile Earthmoving Equipment, PPE, Fall Protection, Steel Erection, Stairways & Handrails, Ladders
  • Scaffolding, Silica, Cranes, Hoisting & Rigging, Electrical, Forklift, Mobile Elevated Work Platforms
  • Forklift Work Platforms, Excavations, First Aid / CPR, Woodworking Machines, Power Tools, Fire Extinguisher, Demolition, Confined Spaces, Welding & Cutting/Hot Works
  • Summary & Wrap Up

This course has been approved for one hour of MN residential contractor, remodeler, and roofer continuing education by the Minnesota Department of Labor & Industry, and one hour of WI Dwelling Contractor Qualifier CE by the Wisconsin Dept. of Safety & Professional Services. 

If you are eligible to receive continuing education credits, your information will be electronically reported to the appropriate agency within 3 business days of course completion.

David Rumsey, OHST, ARM, CSP, Senior Safety Consultant, Marsh & McLennan Agency

David is a Senior Safety Consultant at Marsh & McLennan Agency. He has been with the agency for nearly 19 years.

Going back to his days as a volunteer firefighter in Michigan, David has always been keenly aware of safety issues and what it takes to ensure a safe working environment. David has taken his passion for safety and used it to help his clients implement comprehensive risk management and jobsite safety programs.

David especially enjoys helping clients understand the importance of employee safety as a means of lowering their cost of risk. He works closely with management to analyze company processes and ensure that all necessary safety considerations have been taken into account.

David is actively involved in several local professional organizations that keep him current on changes and new trends in the industry. c
